The DELE exams (Spanish as a second language diploma) are accredited internationally as official Spanish titles. They confirm your command in Spanish and are awarded by the Spanish Ministry for Education, Culture and Sports.
They are organised by the Instituto Cervantes. Here you have the diplomas that may be obtained:

These exams are promoted by the Instituto Cervantes and three universities. The exams are much more flexible in their structure. However, the certificate is valid for five years and it is not as widely recognised as the DELE diplomas.
